  • Our cookbook is coming out in 2026, stay tuned here!

    If you think your local bookstore should carry it, let them know and tell them to reach out to cookbook@liondancecafe.com . We are self-published, so customer-initiated demand is the best way to get us in stores!

  • After a successful round of crowdfunding, the Lion Dance Cafe Cookbook: Authentic, not Traditional is expected to arrive at the start of 2026. With over 100 fully vegan flavor-packed recipes from our award-winning Italo, Chinese and Singaporean kitchen, it’ll get you excited to cook up a storm.

    Want to see it in stores near you? Tell them -and let them know that they can follow up at cookbook@liondancecafe.com . As a self-published book, it has more impact when bookstores can see an interest from the customers’ side.

  • With over 100 recipes (actually closer to 115) including ALL our greatest hits, what’s not included?

    If goes without saying that all the LDC signatures are of course in there, like the laksa, rendang, nasi lemak, nuggets, mushroom goreng, sambals, shaobing, a.s.s cookies, pandan nian gao, and still over 100 more for you to discover.

 

IN THE BAY AREA…

  • We sure did! The entire food menu was created by us, and is executed by their kitchen team.

    Tallboy is an exciting new martini bar in Oakland’s Temescal district. We had the honor and pleasure of working with them to design their food menu. It’s delicious, fun, and happens to be fully vegan. Go say hi for us!
